Leapmotor B03X

The all-new Leapmotor B03X electric SUV is set to arrive in Australian dealerships in November, offering Australian customers a highly capable entry point into electric vehicle ownership. Priced from $29,990  Drive-away*** for B03X Style and $33,990  Drive-away*** for the Design LR, the B03X combines intelligent technology, practical SUV versatility and impressive efficiency in a compact and accessible package.

Available in two grades, Style and Design LR, the B03X delivers a compelling blend of value, practicality and advanced connectivity. The range opens with the Style variant, featuring a 39.8kWh lithium iron phosphate battery that delivers up to 292km WLTP^ driving range. Standard equipment includes a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, LEAP Pilot Level 2 driver assistance technology, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, Leap Flex Seats, a rear-view camera with dynamic guidelines and Leapmotor Connected Services.

Stepping up to Design LR increases battery capacity to 53kWh and extends driving range to up to 382km WLTP^. In addition, customers benefit from premium features including 18-inch alloy wheels, OEKO-TEX® certified TechnoLeather seating, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a 12-speaker surround audio system, multi-colour interior ambient lighting, front parking sensors and a 360-degree camera system with integrated dashcam recorder.

Designed for everyday versatility

The Leapmotor B03X has been engineered to maximise interior space and flexibility while maintaining compact exterior dimensions ideal for urban driving. Measuring 4,270mm in length, 1,810mm in width and riding on a 2,605mm wheelbase, the B03X offers a spacious cabin with practical storage solutions throughout. With 33 thoughtfully designed storage spaces, including a large centre console compartment, door pockets, multiple cupholders, and the versatile Leap Box rear storage compartment, the B03X is designed to support the demands of everyday life.

At the heart of its versatility are the innovative rear Leap Flex Seats, designed to adapt to changing passenger and cargo requirements. Combined with 60:40 split-fold rear seats, a Leap Box rear storage compartment and up to 1,315 litres of cargo capacity, the B03X delivers practicality well beyond its compact footprint.

The exterior adopts a contemporary SUV design, featuring LED lighting, semi-concealed door handles, roof rails and clean, aerodynamic surfacing that reflects Leapmotor’s modern design philosophy.

Smart technology and connectivity

Inside, the B03X centres around a 14.6-inch high-resolution touchscreen and 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 processor. The system supports wireless smartphone integration, satellite navigation, voice control, online music and video streaming, automated routines, over-the-air software updates and access to the LeapAppStore, delivering a highly connected in-vehicle experience.

The Leapmotor App extends connectivity beyond the vehicle, allowing owners to remotely monitor vehicle status, control charging schedules, locate their vehicle and access remote vehicle functions through their smartphone.

Advanced safety as standard

Every B03X is equipped with seven airbags and a comprehensive suite of LEAP Pilot Level 2 driver assistance technologies. Powered by advanced software and high-speed data processing, this sensing architecture supports 21 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) designed to enhance awareness, reduce driver workload and help mitigate potential hazards. Standard safety features include Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Centering Control, Traffic Jam Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection, Front and Rear Cross Traffic Alert with braking assistance, Lane Keep Assist and Driver Attention Monitoring systems.

Design LR further enhances safety and convenience with front parking sensors, side collision sensors, a 360-degree camera system and transparent chassis viewing technology.

Efficient electric performance

The B03X Style is powered by a 130kW electric motor producing 200Nm of torque, while the Design LR increases output to 145kW. Both variants deliver responsive performance suited to everyday driving, accelerating from 0-100km/h in 8.6 seconds and reaching a top speed of 160km/h.

Supporting everyday usability, both variants feature an 11kW onboard AC charger, DC fast-charging capability of up to 100kW on Style and 133kW on Design LR, with a 30 to 80 per cent recharge time of approximately 16 minutes under optimal conditions**. In addition, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality capable of supplying up to 3.3kW of power to external devices.
