Haval H6 Lux Hybrid – With GWM’s hybrid sales booming and approaching a 30% mix of the Haval models in which the technology is available (Haval Jolion and Haval H6), the brand has announced another addition to its NEV (New Energy Vehicle) lineup in the form of the Haval H6 Lux Hybrid.
Priced at an attractive $42,490 Driveaway, the new H6 Lux Hybrid makes entry into GWM’s mid- sized SUV hybrid even more affordable.
GWM’s Dedicated Hybrid Technology sits at the core of this smart and technology-laden SUV with a 1.5 litre turbo petrol engine mated to a 130kW electric drive motor. Impressive combined outputs of 179kW and 530Nm deliver fuel efficiency of just 5.2 litres per 100km using regular unleaded fuel.
GWM’s DHT (Dedicated Hybrid Transmission) smart hybrid system combines a petrol engine and electric motor with an electronically controlled transmission to offer excellent acceleration and performance at low speeds with increased efficiency and power at higher speeds to deliver a driving experience similar to that of a BEV.
With the ability to operate in multiple drive modes including EV, Series, Parallel and Regeneration, GWM’s DHT smart hybrid system has been designed to provide maximum efficiency across all speed and load conditions.
Haval H6 Lux Hybrid Features
Exterior design follows that of the H6 Ultra Hybrid which differentiates itself from the petrol- powered H6 by a unique front grille, rear centre brake lights and HEV badging.
