2025 Electrified GV70 is offered in a single, highly equipped 320kW Signature Performance grade powered by a new, 84kWh high energy density battery that brings an expanded driving range of 462km (WLTP).
Headlining in the luxurious cabin are a 27-inch OLED integrated multimedia display and instrument cluster, wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, a Head-Up Display, Genesis Connected Services and Over the Air update capability.
Also starring are 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium sound, a UV-C Sanitising Console, an Air Aroma diffuser, and a convenient steering wheel shortcut button for the Intelligent Speed Limit Assist system.
An expanded safety and driver assistance suite features the second-generation Highway Driving Assist 2, Forward Collision Avoidance-Assist 2, Lane Following Assist 2 and Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 systems among the new technologies.
A striking styling refresh incorporates two-line Micro Lens Array headlights, an exclusive reverse G-Matrix grille, and dynamic 20-inch wheels.

2025 Electrified GV70 ushers in a refined design that strikes a perfect balance of elegance and sportiness, to create a luxurious and versatile SUV that effortlessly elevates lifestyles.
An exclusive reverse G-Matrix pattern grille differentiates the look of the Electrified GV70 and is flanked by slim yet bright two-line Micro Lens Array headlights, to create the signature Genesis visage.
Completing a bold frontal image are an EV-exclusive lower front bumper, lower grille and horizontal splitter, and a new guilloche-patterned emblem designed to highlight the convergence of analogue sensibility and advanced technology.
2025 Electrified GV70’s striking silhouette is underlined by dynamic 20-inch wheels that give the EV variant a distinctive presence.
At the rear, 2025 Electrified GV70’s sporty style is reinforced with a newly designed rear spoiler featuring an integrated side garnish that improves aerodynamic performance, underscored by an exclusive bumper design showcasing a horizontal graphic.

Active Safety
2025 Electrified GV70 introduces the latest suite of advanced driver assistance technologies:
Navigation–based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC)
Helps maintain a safe speed on the highway by automatically slowing the vehicle when approaching low-speed zones or curved sections, and then returning the vehicle to its pre-set speed.
Lane Following Assist 2 (LFA 2)
Helps keep the vehicle centred in the lane using the front view camera to recognise lanes and assist the driver with steering. If the camera is unable to recognise the lane, the system will use the vehicle ahead as a reference to assist with steering for a period of time.
Forward Collision-avoidance Assist 2 (FCA2)
If the system detects a collision risk with a vehicle, pedestrian or bicycle it will warn the driver. If the driver does not take evasive action, the system will control the vehicle’s steering and braking to mitigate the risk.
FCA2 has the following functionalities for specific driving scenarios:
- Junction Crossing: Provides a warning and assistance to prevent a collision with a vehicle approaching from the left or right when driving straight at an intersection.
- Evasive Steering Assist: Provides evasive steering assistance as required, where there is space to evade the collision.
- Remote Smart parking Assist 2: Lets users complete perpendicular, parallel, and diagonal parking manoeuvres from outside the vehicle.
Hands On Detection (HOD)
Alerts the driver to regain grip of the steering wheel if it detects their hands are not on the wheel, using capacitive sensors in the rim.
Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA2)
The advanced Highway Driving Assist 2 system builds on the Smart Cruise Control functionalities to support lane positioning and lane change assistance, when activated on a highway.
Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist – Forward/Side/Reverse (PCA-F/S/R)
Helps mitigate collisions while manoeuvring at low speeds by warning the driver if a collision risk is detected. The system can also apply the brakes if needed.
Technology and connectivity
High-Voltage Battery System
An 84kWh high-voltage battery utilising high energy density cells gives 2025 Electrified GV70 an all-electric range of 462km (WLTP).
It can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 19 minutes using a 350kW DC fast charger.
The system incorporates a temperature control system to heat and cool the battery as required to ensure optimal operating temperature.
Crosswind Stabilisation
The crosswind stabilisation control system actively controls lane departures caused by strong crosswinds to maintain the intended driving direction.
Intelligent Front-Lighting System
When activated, the Intelligent Front-lighting System automatically adjusts the front high-beam pattern to reduce glare for other road users.
Enhanced ride comfort
2025 Electrified GV70 incorporates additional hydro bushings in the rear suspension, which work to minimise vibrations. These include hydro-type bushings on the tension arms and hydro front bushings on the crossmember.
Along with carefully honed spring, stabiliser bar, and damper calibrations, the result is an exceptionally comfortable ride.
Comfort and convenience
27-inch OLED integrated display
The 27-inch ultra-large OLED integrated display seamlessly combines the cluster and infotainment screens, to provide a 30 percent larger information area.
This wide-screen creates a high-tech sense of luxury and provides crisp clarity. The driver can interact with the screen using touch, voice, or dial commands. In addition, when using the satellite navigation system, the map display can be overlaid across the entire screen, with driving information presented on the Head-Up Display.
Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto
Drivers can now wirelessly connect their compatible smartphone to the car to control various apps using the infotainment screen. Music can be displayed either on the multimedia screen or as a widget in the cluster. When using phone navigation, the map can appear in the cluster while other apps are displayed on the multimedia screen.
Next-generation Genesis integrated Graphical User Interface
Updated cluster, navigation, and head-up display user interfaces reflect a consistent graphic concept, enhancing clarity and instilling a sense of luxury.
Voice recognition controls
User convenience is enhanced by providing natural language-based voice recognition control for functions such as the air conditioning, windows, sunroof, tailgate, seat heating and ventilation, heated side mirrors and more.
Fingerprint authentication system
Let’s the driver turn on the vehicle and drive away without a key. This feature can also prompt 2025 Electrified GV70 to adjust the seating and mirrors to the driver’s preferences.
Air Aroma Diffuser
An air aroma diffuser system lets users control the cabin fragrance via the infotainment display, and the strength of the fragrance dispensed using the air-conditioning control panel. Users can install two fragrance capsules and select between the aromas as they wish.
Mood Curator
A Mood Curator system brings together music, scent, lighting and the massage function to create a cabin feel that suits the driver’s mood. There are four moods to choose from – Vitality, Delight, Care and Comfort.
Bang & Olufsen Sound System
A Bang & Olufsen 16-speaker high-resolution audio system in 2025 Electrified GV70 delivers a rich and deep tonal quality and features aluminium G-Matrix speaker grilles, for an elegant finish.
UV light sterilisation
A UV light-steriliser beneath the centre console armrest uses UV-C LED lamps to sterilise items such as, phones wallets and sunglasses while driving.
Touch-type air-conditioning control panel
Touch controls feature for the air-conditioning system and the second-row air and air purification systems.
Head-up display
A high-resolution, wide display presents vehicle speed, key driver assistance information and GPS data clearly and concisely, both during the day and when driving at night.
Smart touch key sensor – all doors
The smart key sensor has been expanded to all doors, now including the rear doors, to allow direct keyless entry to the second row.
Digital Centre Mirror (DCM)
